Day 30 to 30 Days to Healthy Living

Day 30 to 30 Days to Healthy Living

Wow can’t believe it is Day 30! Knowing in the morning that I will have completed 30 days to healthy living challenge is so exciting. Today was super busy, as soon as I woke up I decided that today would be productive. So I did my morning routine and headed over to my family’s house. I renewed my cheerleading coaching qualifications, spent at least 2 hours filling in the exam and reminding myself of the terminology. Coaching gymnastics means I have a lot of different names for the same move, also working in the USA means I have loads of English and American terminology all mixed up it is quite funny. At the end of the day I’m happy the kids understand what I mean and because a lot of them watch youtube they actually know the American terms more and are always confused by some English ones.

I updated my web design website and it is looking almost ready which is super exciting too. Work crept up quickly and coaching was enjoyable. I had two shakes that I made this morning along with a meal at lunch time with my mum. I would be lying if I wasn’t looking forward to chocolate, alcohol, bread and dairy! Doing this challenge and to have completed 30 days to healthy living challenge I now know not to take naughty food for granted. Although my skin looks amazing and my body is definitely more happy on this diet I cannot wait to eat naughty food. I think it would be a good idea to live my life 80% like this diet and 20% anything I want. Everything in moderation is key.

After work I had my pole session like last week and I was worried I wouldn’t do a lot because my back ached from lots of supporting gymnasts. However it went really well and learnt a few moves. One move hurts my ankle a lot so I haven’t mastered it yet, I can’t get through the pain. One of my friends wasn’t there this week because she is on holiday and won’t be back for another week yet. Thought I’d get tired but I can talk a lot so time went by fast. Got home and ate some nuts, I had an email saying I passed my cheerleading coaching exam so was thrilled and impressed at how quickly they mark and pass you. So this will be my penultimate blog post having completed 30 days to healthy living challenge, I will post up my before and after pics and body measurements tomorrow. I have to admit writing down my feelings and my journey was liberating and very healthy mentally, I may keep it up and start writing about my other interests or hobbies, what do you think? Thanks for reading, hope I inspire you to eat healthily and try something new.

Pretzel variation 😁

Day 29 to 30 Days to Healthy Living

Day 29 to 30 Days to Healthy Living

Woke up super early because I was really excited my hair was to be touched up, my roots were shortly going to look spectacular! My hairdresser did a really good job and was really happy with it. Got some work done today and had a few odd jobs to do so completed them. I munched my usual of eggs and avocado but today I had celery sticks as my soldiers instead of toast. Now if you don’t know what dippy eggs and soliders are read this! Was funny and enjoyable. I made myself two strawberry and chocolate protein shakes for the day one with digestion plus and one with fibre support and had them both before work.

At work I had a hydration drink and also packed a prepare and endure drink for gymnastics later. My gymnasts worked hard today and by the time it got to my turn to train I had a massive headache. I drank my prepare and endure drink before training and did quite well considering. Hadn’t been to gym for a whole week because of the snow closures so already feeling achey. Chatted with my mates and did a lot of bars work, my hands are now screaming at me. I sat with my friend in my car and chatted a little while longer before eventually driving home.

Super nice hands of a gymnast 😂 #hardwork

When I got home I found out that my car had been scratched by a colleague, bad luck, she had admitted it and said she would pay out through her insurance. Put me in a proper mood. I was so hungry after dinner I was still in need of more food, my head was throbbing another sign I hadn’t eaten enough. So I went in search for my trusty pistachios but I couldn’t find them anywhere. I looked everywhere but more bad luck as I couldn’t find them. I was so hangry I actually decided to walk to the local 24 hour supermarket and buy some. I did and munched half a packet.

Whilst I was binging on nuts my best friend phoned and he’d had quite a bit of bad luck so we chatted for a little while and I tried to cheer him up. I then phoned my other best friend to chat was really fun and put all the bad luck I’d had this evening behind me. She can really cheer me up and we can talk, giggle and be stupid for hours on end, I love her to bits. I drank my herbal tea whilst on FaceTime to her and wrote my blog too. Stayed up very late but no need for an early rise tomorrow so worth it. Goodnight everyone, much love.

Love this filter 😍

Day 28 to 30 Days to Healthy Living

Day 28 to 30 Days to Healthy Living

I love Sundays! Woke up and had the house to myself so strutted around in my birthday suit. I made myself breakfast of eggs and avocado with my morning chocolate and strawberry protein shake. I decided that today my focus would be on my water intake. I’m not very good at staying hydrated and thought I would make a conscious effort on my water intake. I left for work a little earlier than usual just incase the snow had made the roads icy, however they were just fine.

I had a one to one with one of my general gymnasts to rejig and remember her floor routine. I have been coaching her for a few years now and is one of my original gymnasts in my group. She is now level 4 and will do her last level in general gymnastics next year, so exciting. I have loved watching her progress and it is quite rare to have the same gymnast for a long period of time, they often get moved around quite a bit. She learnt her routine very quickly and is looking good, I love talking to her mum at the end and socialising. Before I left for town I made sure to grab a glass of water to help me with my water intake.

I drove off into town, now I usually don’t pay to park in town and find somewhere free however all the usual places I go have either been painted double yellows or I wasn’t allowed to park for longer than two hours. I was in town to watch a movie at the cinema with my boyfriend so I knew I had to go in a car park, carrying on my film binging from yesterday. It cost me £3.50 for three hours, I hate paying to park. We grabbed something to eat and I had a peppermint tea in his favourite cafe. We had popcorn and I bought myself a bottle of water, my water intake today must have been so good. We watched Game Night, it was absolutely hilarious, thoroughly enjoyed it.

Afterwards we played pool at a local pub and again I had a glass of water, annoyingly it had ice in which I don’t like in my drinks, I normally remember to ask for no ice but had forgotten. He won all three games we played but I was getting better at pool. He had to head off home because he had a roast dinner at five with his family, felt a little miffed I didn’t get invited only because he is always welcome to our Sunday Chinese nights we normally have. I went home, had the house to myself again so watched some more Netflix and TV. Made myself a roast dinner of my own without gluten so mostly veg and chicken lol. I decided to do some arts and crafts and dyed some leather pink, was fun. My brother and his fiancé came home around 8pm with their lovely friend too. We chatted about our day and they went off to get ready for bed. I watched some Dirk Gently and fell asleep on the sofa. I woke up and went to bed very early around 9:30pm to which I forgot to post my blog so here it is.

Day 27 to 30 Days to Healthy Living

Day 27 to 30 Days to Healthy Living

Woke up today and did my morning routine, saw outside that the snow had started to melt and the roads were looking much better. My normal Saturday involves lots of film binging but today I was covering a coaches group just like last week because she is on holiday in Australia. I had my breakfast of hard boiled eggs and a gluten free cumpet. I made myself a raspberry vanilla shake with fiber support in. I accidentally walked into the shower door in the morning, so had to ice my left eye and brow. It hurt so much. I’ve been really clumsy lately, fell face first flat as a pancake in the snow last night too. Cleared my car of snow, it wasn’t as cold today and headed off to work very early to make sure I got there on time safe and sound.

After work I phoned the boyfriend to see if he wanted to hang out but he was too hungover from last night. Visited my family and picked up some of my post and popped to my local supermarket. I bought some more frozen fruit for my shakes and some food for meals. I didn’t want to spend my Saturday night in alone, had the whole house to myself because my brother and his fiancé were at a party in London so phoned one of my best mates. He was happy to chill out so we played the Atari Jaguar for a bit, great retro video gaming! And decided to do some film binging.

We snacked on pistachios and root vegetable crisps, lol healthy snacks. We watched Hunt for the Wilder People and Mute on Netflix proper film binging. Both films were great. Was lovely just to chill out on a Saturday night. Will have my herbal tea before heading off to bed later.

Day 26 to 30 Days to Healthy Living

Day 26 to 30 Days to Healthy Living

Cant believe I only have 4 more days until I will have completed my 30 days to healthy living. Woke up with a tummy ache so thought I must just be hungry from yesterday’s diet. My brother’s fiancé had got another snow day and was in the living room working from home on her laptop. I sat and chatted for a bit and then grabbed a nice breakfast of eggs and avocado and a raspberry vanilla shake.

Snowy cold raspberry shake ❄️😁

I watched from the window as my brother’s fiancé started to make a snowman. It had been snowy on and off in the morning. She made a really cute snowman with a hat, moustache and a bow tie. I took photos of her and then ate my breakie to help ease my tummy ache. My work had decided to open today at 4 so drove in.

Snow Gentleman! ❄️

Roads were fine but as I parked in the very snowy car park it started to snow again. The gym kept an eye on it whilst we coached. I had two gymnasts in out of 9! There were only 2 recreational gymnasts in the first hour and a few more in the second. Pretty much all the coaches were in. The snow got worse so they decided to close at 6pm. Only got to work 2 hours but my gymnasts worked really hard and I still had a tummy ache.

I gave a lift home to a coach who lived just around the corner and drove home. I was really scared on one roundabout as my car just drifted and slid the wrong way. I don’t like not being in control and was really scared. Not that I would have been hurt going around 5mph but still was not comfortable.

It was still snowing when I got back, I went to the supermarket grabbed food and had dinner. My brother had friends round and grabbed dominos pizza. I was very jealous so sat there eating pistachios. My tummy ache soon after went and I hung out with them chatting and playing games. I got tired and headed off to bed. Have work tomorrow but worried of driving again on the icy roads hopefully by 1pm it should clear up.

Day 25 to 30 Days to Healthy Living

Day 25 to 30 Days to Healthy Living

Can’t believe I have another snow day. I spent the day doing some online work and hanging out with my brother’s fiancé who also didn’t have work. What I have noticed with having work off and not exercising like I normally do is severely affecting my hormone balance. I am feeling more hungry, more bored, more sad just more emotional all together. It could just be where I am in my cycle as a woman however it makes me crave desperately chocolate.

Another snow day another breakfast 🙂

We watched films whilst I did a bit of work and it was proper chick flicks. We both enjoyed them, I cried multiple times and laughed hard I tried to cry it all out because my pesky hormone balance was out of whack. When my brother got home, he cooked us sea bass with spinach and garlic and prawn toast on gluten free bread. It was all very yummy. I headed off round to my boyfriends. The roads were ridiculous, it looked like they weren’t gritted but I’m sure they were. I had a few slides round corners but nothing drastic. His road was thick snow like no one had driven in or out was crazy.

I felt bad for him having to deal with me all emotional because of my hormone balance being completely crazy. I think he handled me ok. Got home and watched loads of funny vine compilations, so many I hadn’t seen and really cracked me up. I’m feeling hungry right now at 11:41pm, that’s not right. I am not going to eat anything, it is far too late for that. I shall go to bed soon, not sure what I am going to do tomorrow. I already know I won’t be in work for the morning as the classes are cancelled. There is a beautiful picturesque photo of the gym’s car park completely covered with snow, it is gorgeous. I think it snowed more today than yesterday.
